Limón technique and Jazz with David Strnad.

In the week in August (20-24) (Mon-Thu) will be held the workshop of LIMÓN and JAZZ DANCE technique.

David Strnad - the successful dancer, choreographer and the excellent teacher works mainly at the Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno and in Dance Theatre MAXIMVS Brno. As a guest he is teaching at the dance schools in Helsinki, Rome, Istanbul, Murcia, Amsterodam, etc. His pedagogical abilities extend from Limón technique to Lester Horton- and Jazz Dance techinques.

In the lessons of Limón technique (August 20-24, daily 11:45-13:15) you will learn - on advanced level - the basics of the technique as well as the use of the Limón´s basics in your dance expression and in your further dance development.
In the lessons of the Jazz technique (August 20-24, daily 14:00-15:30) you will work with the traditional- and modern jazz musical stuff and with the basics of the dance terminology. You will learn how to work with your body and your emotions, improve your coordination abilities and isolated-movements techniques.

The level: Advanced

The fee: CZK 950 (five 90-minutes lessons) for a single workshop (Limón technique or Jazz Dance) or CZK 220 for a single 90-minutes lesson. (Not recommended because of continuity of the lessons.)
