Martin Vraný’s Contemporary Dance Workshop, Sat & Sun 23rd - 24th Feb 2013
8.2.2013
Martin Vraný is returning after having been abroad for a long time. He is an outstanding teacher, as proved during his time in the prestigious dance group Rui Horta. His teaching of Contemporary Dance gradually developed into his own dance style featuring an excellent technique and an attractive, modern dance move.
Not only is Martin Vraný an outstanding teacher but he is also an excellent dancer. After having spent a year in the National Theatre in Brno, he enjoyed his time in many foreign dance groups and has practised many dance styles, e.g. classical ballet, neoclassical dance, modern dance and contemporary dance. He started his career abroad in Ján Ďurovčík’s Bratislava Theatre of Dance and then continued in Volksoper in Vienna, in Korzo Theater Den Haag, in the Ruie Horty group. His last performance was in Médéa opera in Théatre des Champs Elysée in Paris. It was in Paris where he received a special award at Concours de la Danse de Paris.
Martin Vraný thus represents an absolute top European dancer in Contemporary Dance and you will have the chance to judge for yourself!
Martin Vraný’s workshop will consist of two 90-minute workshops on Saturday and Sunday:
10:00 – 11:30 Contemporary – technique
11:45-13:15 Contemporary – repertoire
