SUMMER WORKSHOP OF BALLET AND CONTEMPORARY DANCE

Enjoy the magic of Prague and dance in an inspiring place. DANCE PERFECT Studio in cooperation with the famous DOT504 Dance Company organizing two weekly summer workshops focusing on Ballet and Contemporary Dance in August 12-16 and 19-23, 2013.
The workshops will be held by renowned instructors - doc. Václav Janeček (head of the Dance Dpt of Academy of Performing Arts & dramaturgy of the National Theatre / Laterna Magika) and Alice Borská (soloist of Pavel Šmok Prague Chambre Ballet) as teachers of classical ballet and Martin Vraný (DOT504 & long-term foreign engagements e.g. Rui Horta Company) as a Contemporary Dance instructor with a wealth of experience within the international dance scene.
Specialty of the first weekly workshop (Aug 12th-16th) is the focus on intermediate participants. The second week (Aug 19th-23th) is focused on advanced dancers and professionals - as usual.
Classes of classical baltet have a classical structure you are used to - on the free, ballet bar technique and jumps. Five-day intensive training will provide a significant progress for all course attendants.
The first lesson of Contemporary Dance will focus on practicing and improving floor technique. The second lesson deals with short Contemporary Dance repertoire choreos with the emphasis on correct interpretation and creativity development.
Workshops are tailored to the technical level of attendants and lessons will be held according to the following schedule:
