Smart Body – intensive workshop

Dance language cultivating our movement intelligence.
We invite you to an exceptional Smart Body workshop where you will learn to better understand your body, under the leadership of the outstanding teacher and 420people‘s dancer Filip Staněk on Saturday and Sunday, November 9 and 10, 2019 in our studio.

From 10am to 1pm every day
The issue is a complex form of training in compliance with uniqueness of movement material and dance philosophy of Filip Staněk (currently member of 420people Dance Company).
Smart Body is based on contemporary dance techniques, but simultaneously takes effective implements from other branches such as sports, martial arts, physiotherapy, Fighting Monkey etc. This method supports neuromuscular connections and pushes us to use imagination, intuition or creativity to accomplish movement tasks.
Smart Body improves agility, swiftness, physical condition, coordination, joint mobility and muscle power. It teaches us to perceive our body as well as the environs. It raises "the clever body". Its goal is to find joy and freedom in movement performance.
Filip Staněk graduated at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, in the field of dance and acting. Filip was a soloist of The National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava for five years and a freelance teacher at the conservatory at the same time.
Filip lived 2 years in Monaco, working there as a coach and writing short stories on his website. Since 2017 he has been a member of the dance company 420people, a certified coach and a freelance dance teacher.
Filip has taken part in many workshops all around the world, focused on various branches of movement and dance.
What to wear
Comfortable clothing - ideally tracksuit and shirt w/ sleeves, socks or barefoot.

- when purchased from October 28, 2019: CZK 1.200
