Summer Hip Hop Workshop – August 2020.

THE MES(s) – DANCE PERFECT Studios Hip-Hop competition team organizes from August 17 to 21, 2020 hip-hop dance styles summer workshop for all enthusiast from 8 to 15 years of age.
From Monday to Friday, three 90-minute lessons per day + accompanying program. The workshop fee also includes lunch meal in "U medvídků“ restaurant, next to the studio.

Who is the workshop for
The workshop is designed for beginners and intermediate young dancers from the age of 8 who are interested in Hip-Hop and related dance styles.
Upon successful completion of the workshop, those interested can become members of the Hip Hop competition team The Mes (s) of the Dance Perfect studio in the category of kids 8-11 years or juniors 12-15 years.

The levels
The workshop is divided into two performance levels:
• beginners
• intermediate

Participants in both categories will have three 90-minute lessons per day (running in parallel in two halls) and other additional activities. Participants will be included in the groups according to their skills and experience.
Both performance groups thus complete a total of fourteen 90-minute lessons, 5 team activities + a special workshop program - dance battles and choreo demonstrations.

Workshop fee
CZK 4.300

Workshop payment
In cash or by card upon handover of application at the reception desk or by bank transfer. With confirmation of your application we will provide to you the necessary data for bank transfer payment.

Please, note: it is not possible to use Sodexo, Edenred, Benefit Plus, Benefit and other vouchers for the Hip-Hop Workshop payment.

Scope of teaching
5 days, three 90minute lessons a day + a special workshop program (dance battles, choreo presentations). The workshop fee also includes five lunch meals in “U medvídků“ restaurant, next to the studio.

Martina Matoušková - Maya

Martina "Maya" Matoušková, The MES(s) by Dance Perfect – dancer, teacher, choreographer. She has participated in many internships and workshops: Hip Hop Dance Summer School (FR), Pineapple Dance Studio (GB), Maryland Studioz (GB), Street Dance Kemp (CZ), The Week Hip Hop Festival (IT), Hyper Week Camp (IT), Prague Latino Festival (CZ), Afrohouse and KuduroMania Festival (PL), Juste Debout School (FR), Serial Stepperz School (FR) aj. Dance and theatre projects: Gaze Out 2008, 2009, 2011, Urbanite 2008, 2009, Streets in Opera Festival, K.I.D.S. performance, Flashmob Tribute to Michael Jackson aj. With Romeo et Juliette musical – a French version of Gérard Presgurvic she participated on China and Taiwan tour.

Michal Máša, The MES(s) by Dance Perfect – dancer, teacher, choreographer. Absolute winner of TSR. He completed an internship in NY. Musical role: Mamma Mia!, Lohg Live the Ghosts!, 2116, IAGO, Mefisto (solo dance role Lucifer), Robinson – assistant of choreographer, Sister in action. Dancer and choreographer of OlgaLounová singer. Regular participant in workshops in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Radka Lišková, Dance Perfect – For several years she has been intensively involved in African Angola dances - Kuduru and Afro house - and in recent years he has been teaching these styles not only in Prague but also throughout the Czech Republic.
In the past, she focused mainly on Dancehall and completed many workshops abroad (Big Up Kemp France, Dancehall International, workshops with Jamaican dancers, etc.).
In 2018, she visited Angola, where she got to know the local culture and participated in workshops with Vander Poster (Kuduro and Afro house) and with Adilson Maiza (Afro house). She has participated many times in foreign festivals, such as Kuduro Mania, Afro Battle Portugal, Afrohouse & Kuduro Lovers in Paris. She regularly travels to Lisbon, where she learns from the best dancers (Bolicao, Krayze, Dino Luk, Selma, etc).
She currently teaches regular lessons in dance studios in- and outside of Prague and is invited to various dance events, workshops and festivals.

Klára Marinovova, she has been involved in dance for 10 years and has been educated in Street Dance / Urban styles, currently she focuses mainly on Dancehall and regularly educates and represents abroad. She took lessons in New York (BDC, Dany studios and others), London (Pineapple dance centre), Paris (L’Agence dancefloor) etc.
He regularly participates in international Dancehall camps and competitions (Big Up Camp Europe, Top Up Camp Berlin, Nitty Gritty Italy, Dancehall Challenge, Wicked Dance Camp).
She currently teaches Dancehall in studios and schools in Prague and abroad (Germany, Austria, Poland).
In the years 2015-19, she also studied dance in Jamaica, where she also took part in shooting video clips of artists such as Kalado or Mr. Vegas (Buss it Open).

Filip “Fífa” Růžička, teacher and choreographer of Beat Up and Funky Beat dance group. He won the title of Czech champion several times with both groups. He specializes in choreography and freestyle.
His main dance domain is Hip Hop and House, but he does not hesitate to educate in other styles. He regularly draws inspiration from events not only in the Czech Republic, but also in New York and Italy. He confirmed his versatility by winning the Dancer 2015 competition. He won the Choreographer of the Year award four times in a row. (2016-2019).
He regularly teaches in Street Dance schools throughout the Czech Republic and has also taught at events such as Choreo Connection or Dance Life.

Robin Steinhard, started in the dance group Zkrat in 2007. Then he worked in BDS, where he collected several titles at the Czech Championships. He has been a member of the Pussy Poppers group since 2012. He is most interested in creativity and understanding of the battle mentality. He is educated by leading Czech dancers and is still inspired by world icons from which he can draw.
Hip Hop is a complex subculture for him, which he tries to pass on and spread to future generations.
