Summer Street Camp for Youngs Interested in Street Dance and in a Lot of Great Fun

DANCE PERFECT Studio is organizing a summer Street Camp from July 25th to 29th, 2022 for all fans of modern dance styles from 6 to 12 years of age with various street dance techniques lessons.
The program includes two 90-minute classes a day, Monday through Friday, and a creative activity to prepare costumes and props for the final performance, designed as an after-school program for parents and friends.

Who is the workshop designed for
Street Camp is for everyone interested in modern street dance styles.
Street Camp will teach you the basics of everything a good dancer needs: technique, expression, short choreos and various movement battles.
Performance levels
Street Camp is for everyone who wants to learn something new, improve their dance- and music skills and meet new people.
Classes always take into account the age and different performance skills of the participants so that everyone can enjoy and have a great time.
Programme of the week
Street Camp participants will attend a total of ten 90-minute street dance lessons and five 90-minute creative workshops dedicated to preparing a short final performance for parents, friends and acquaintances on Friday at 5 pm.

• 09:00-10:30 Street Dance 1st lesson
• 10:30-11:00 Snack *
• 11:00-12:30 Creative activity (creating costumes & props for the final performance), games
• 12:30-13:00 Lunch *
• 13:00-14:30 Outdoor programme at Žofín island or other alternative programme
• 14:30-14:45 Snack *
• 14:45-16:00 Street Dance 2nd lesson
• 16:00-17:00 Departure of the participants
Special programme:
• Friday, July 29 from 17:00 Closing final choreo performance for parents and friends
* Participants will have their own home prepared snacks, hot lunches will be provided in the U Medvídků restaurant. Bottled or filtered water will be available for participants throughout the day.

If you are not owner of the digital signature, leave the signature field blank and sign the printed application we will prepared for you on the first day of the workshop.
Workshop fee
CZK 3.900
Street Camp payment
In cash or by card upon handover of application at the reception desk or by bank transfer. With handover of application we will provide to you the necessary data for bank transfer payment with QR code.
Please, note: it is not possible to use Sodexo, Edenred, Benefit Plus, Benefit and other vouchers for the Street Camp payment.
If the workshop is cancelled as a part of anti-epidemic measures before it starts, the full amount of the Street Camp fee would be refunded.
Teachers
Miru Manková – dancer, teacher and choreographer of street and modern techniques. She mainly focuses on hip hop, house dance, dancehall and afro styles. However, she considers the complexity of teaching important, so styles such as poppin, lockin and waacking are also important to her.
Since 2013 she has been active in the street dance group Afresh Dance Community, with which she has competed abroad at Hip Hop Unite or World of Dance (Paris, Berlin).
She regularly participates in dance camps such as Street Dance Kemp (SDK Europe) or Groove days, La Primavera social dance festival with styles such as salsa, bachata, zouk, etc.
She has performed in the opening show Star Dance - Stars Dance for Paraple (Czech TV), participated in projects Landscape Festival, Náplavka k světu or dance video project MURAKAMI.
Karla Najvertová – Since her youth she has been involved in Street dance. In the group Beat Up she became European Champion in 2018.
Since 2020 she has been living in Prague and performing in the group Brownies of the famous dance duo Zizoe & Wahe, which focuses on Street dance culture in the Czech Republic. Now Karla is focusing on Dancehall style, which she spent a month in Jamaica this year, where she learned about the whole culture of the dance scene there. In December 2021 she won the Dancehall dance battle.
Karla teaches currently at a dance school where she leads several of its teams with whom she regularly travels for workshops, summer camps and dance competitions.
