Plachá Monika
Teacher, Dancer, Choreographer
She graduated from Dance Centre Prague.
Monika was a part of Ballet Prague Junior and its joint projects with Prague Chamber Ballet.
Since 2021 she has been working as a dancer and teacher in ViViD Dance Company and Relevé Dance scool and has choreographed for teams and solo freestyle dancers.
She has been part of several dance projects, music videos, competition formations and theatre productions.
Monika is mainly involved in Contemporary dance, but also in street styles.
My lessons begin with a warm-up and stretching. I then move on to improvisation exercises or choreography. When teaching choreography, I choose movements that are challenging enough to be achievable yet useful for everyone.
In my lessons, I enjoy sharing my perception of dance and movement in space.
