Conscious Movement for a Healthy Body
Discover a class that naturally combines Yoga and DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) – a modern rehabilitation approach based on the principles of developmental kinesiology.
DNS helps the body re-activate and coordinate the deep stabilization system, just as we naturally learn to do in early childhood. As a result, it improves posture, stability, breathing and movement patterns, and helps prevent overload and back pain.
In this class, Yoga sequences alternate with DNS positions. The yoga part brings flow, mindful movement, and breath awareness while the DNS sequences develop deep stabilization, precise body alignment and healthy movement patterns.
The two methods complement each other – Yoga enhances awareness and release while DNS adds support, strength, and stability.
You can look forward to a mindful yet dynamic practice that will make you sweat. DNS positions are nourishing – they strengthen from within and help the body function efficiently and without strain. The focus is on precise technique, healthy posture, and breath that both stabilizes and relaxes you.
The class concludes with a breathing technique or relaxation, allowing your body and mind to shift into calm and regeneration.
